I dont know why they are calling it King of the Hill Tourney @ HELL (Helen Back). Helen Back is not a Bowling Center.....its a freaking BAR. It should still be considered Shoal River Bowling Center or Shoal River Lanes as it as been called for 20+ years now regardless of new owner(s) or not....like i said HELL (Helen Back) is a BAR not a place for bowling.

NEXT TOURNAMENT WILL BE DECEMBER 19, 2009 AT SHOAL RIVER
I would like to thank everyone that came out to Shoal River Bowling Center to participate in the tournament. We had 13 participants. After two eliminator games, we cut the field to 8. High qualifier for the eliminator was Larry Maines, who bowled a 467 scratch, 549 with handicap. Larry was defeated in the quarter finals. Semi finals found Mark Gunn pitted against Bruce O'Neil and Wayne King against Don Johnson, Sr. Mark Gunn bowled a 175, 222 with handicap to defeated Bruce O'Neil who bowled a 162, 207 with handicap. Wayne King bowled a 234, 283 with handicap to defeated Don Johnson, Sr. who bowled a 218, 243 with handicap. Final match ended with the first tournament winner being Wayne King, who defeated Mark Gunn. Wayne had a 201, 250 with Handicap to defeat Mark who bowled a 169, 216 with handicap. We also had a 50/50 drawing with required the person with their ticket drawn to bowl three strikes on three different lanes to win half the pot on three consecutive lanes. Bruce O’Neil was lucky ticket drawn but the failed capture the prize. The pot will be half of what ever is collected tourney plus remaining funds. Prizes awarded were 1st - $60, 2nd - $30, 3rd - $20, and 4th - $15.
