Thank you for all that participated in the December eliminator. John Dougherty was the winner this week, with Wayne King taking second. Charles Clifford, Sr. and Mark Gunn placed 3rd and 4th respectively.

The next tourney will be held at Shoal River on Sunday January 17, 2010. The Eliminator Tournament, formerly King of the Hill tournament, will be hosted By Mark Gunn and Bruce O'Neil. This will be a handicap tourney, HDCP will be 240-Ave X 90%, Max HDCP will be 72 pins per game. Format will be bowl two games and then cut to High 8 or 16 people based on number of entrants. Entry fee will be $20.00. Pay out will be for 1st through 4th place. Last years highest book average will be used. Sign-up at 1:15 to 1:45: Tourney start time is 2:00. If you have any questions please call me after 5 pm or on the weekends at 305-1253. Leave a message as I might be working and unable to come to the phone and I will call you back as soon as I can.

Since we were not holding the winner as a “king” for the next tournament the name was changed to indicate the current format which is a monthly eliminator.

Pay out based on following number of entrants:

10 Entrants = $60, $30, $20, $10
16 Entrants = $100, $50, $25, $20
24 Entrants = $150, $75, $40, $30
32 Entrants = $200, $100, $50, $35
40 Entrants = $250, $125, $60, $40

Side pot: One bowler is chosen from tickets purchased and must bowl 3 strikes, one strike on each of three consecutive lanes to win half the pot. Tickets are sold during the eliminator and the winner bowls prior to the bracket starting. There will be one possible winner per tournament. Tickets are 6 for $5 or a $1 each.
Current side pot value is $120.
